On the homepage

AirForce on the homepage.

I’ve been running for the last week and have been looking for some sites on the web to track my stats and keep me motivated. So far I’ve been utilizing the Nike+ website and Runner+. Runner+ allows me to sync my data and see some additional stats. It’s also nice to see my last run on the homepage. If you have the Nike+ kit or if you just looking for a new website about running, take a look at either one of these sites.

My new Apple Keyboard

All I can say is WOW is this thing thin. This is the best keyboard I’ve put my fingertips to since I had found the Macally iceKEY keyboard. It will only run on Mac OS X v10.4.10 or later, so if your running something older, your going to need to upgrade. It also has some new buttons on the keyboard, a dedicated dashboard key and an expose key. It didn’t take long to read the instruction manual as it was only 4 pages. (I guess a keyboard is self-explanatory) Once it was installed I was immediately prompted to download an update of about 16MB. I preferred the USB version because of the number pad and the wireless keyboard reminds me of a laptop keyboard and is a pain to use when it comes to enter numbers like you would on a normal keyboard. I would rate this product a 5 out of 5 stars.

The iSkin Revo

I was looking for a new case to protect my iPhone from dings and scratches. I normally like the clear cases because they don’t distract from the device. Both of my iPods before have/had clear cases. I looked around the internet and found the iSkin Revo. This case offers different skins to choose from, but I like the black face on the iPhone so I was glad to see they offered the Revo in a color called Nighthawk which is all black. The Revo has five main features. It offers a protective case, its antimicrobial, a sweet privacy screen, visor to protect the display, and sure grip. After using this case for over a week now I think it was a great buy and would highly recommend it. I would rate this product a 5 out of 5 stars.

Trying to find a unique design can be time consuming.

So tonight instead of spending time studying I have now spent a ton of time scouring the Internet for a WordPress theme that I like. I really don’t have the time to make my own so I headed over to Theme Viewer and snagged the theme you see here. I was also to able to install the WordPress Tiger Administration and all I can say is wow what a change to the interface of WordPress!   In the end though I am going to have to make my own but that can wait until I graduate which I found out today will be in December after my academic adviser finally had my transcripts reviewed.

My AirPort Extreme

Today after work I picked up the Airport Extreme and then headed home to try out the new device. I had a Motorola WR850G before this and while it worked great for the most part it seriously lacked signal strength and the ability to transfer data to my AppleTV.

AirPort Extreme

Setup was quick, fast and easy after finding the Airport Utility. I was able to give my network and device a name while enabling WPA encryption in about a minute.

I’m still waiting to hookup my 200GB external drive to the USB port that is on-board, but that will be in the near future. For now I just impressed to see the 802.11N blazing content to my laptops and AppleTV.

IPhone

IPhone

I purchased my IPhone 2 hours after it came out. I think the phone is absolutely wonderful. I have a MacBook that I now mainly use for school work when I am at the house. I am finding out that its great to be connected all the time so I can check my GMail, surf the Internet, and listen to my slow jams.

I’m glad to see so many people making IPhone apps. Digg.com just release there official IPhone app at http://digg.com/IPhone

The Edge network is slow as so many of the reviews have posted already, but when you get the phone connected to a wireless network it really shines.
